Effective and Reliable Fastening with Kem Vibra-TITE Threadlockers

Kem Vibra-TITE Threadlockers lock and seal threaded fasteners. Liquid Threadlockers are most effective method of locking threaded fasteners because they utilize the entire assembly. These Threadlockers alleviates rust lock and prevent leakages. They perform better than traditional mechanical devices such as lock washers, preventing any loosening from shock and vibration.

Anaerobic Threadlockers cure to form a hard lock when applied to a fastener and installed into a mating metal part. In the absence of air and the presence of metal, a chemical reaction takes places which causes the material to harden, unitizing the assembly. Anaerobic products are not recommended for use on plastic parts, especially thermoplastics, where stress cracking can occur, or in pure oxygen / oxygen rich environments which prevent the product from properly curing.

A low strength anaerobic threadlocker designed for locking threaded fasteners smaller than 6 mm in diameter, which require disassembly with standard hand tools. Also works on set screws, and screws that have a long engagement length.

MEDIUM STRENGTH 

Kem Vibra-Tite 121 is a medium strength anaerobic threadlocker designed for locking threaded fasteners from 6 mm to 18 mm in diameter.  Medium strength allows for disassembly with standard hand tools. Exhibits good temperature and solvent resistance.  Used in applications where shock and vibration may cause the fasteners to loosen.
